Chapter 538 Giant Shadow

"That's strange..." Nami murmured, looking at the expression on Lucci's face.

Robin chuckled softly. She knew what Nami meant, and it was really amusing to see the blank and innocent look on Lucci's face.

"What are you three doing?!" Usopp and Chopper stared incredulously at Lucci, Luffy, and Ace, who had asked Law to let them switch bodies.

"We're afraid of Doflamingo's pursuit, and the three of you are playing a body-swapping game here! What if the enemy comes?!"

"Having enemies means we can have more fun!" Lucci (Luffy) flashed an unusually bright smile.

"I'm sorry, my two brothers have been too willful." Luffy (Ace) bowed apologetically to the Straw Hat crew.

"No, my eyes hurt so much." Everyone covered their eyes as they looked at the unusually bright, silly smile that suddenly appeared on Lu Qi's usually indifferent face. It was too strange and too bright.

"Luffy has become very polite, but also terrifying." Sanji looked at Luffy's polite smile and felt goosebumps all over his body.

"Ace hasn't changed much," Zoro said, looking at Ace with satisfaction. "Nothing unexpected happened either."

“That’s because it’s Lucci inside,” Qi said with a smile.

Sanji took a drag of his cigarette and looked at Ace's burning hand. "Look at his hand before you say that."

Zoro twitched his lips, looking at Ace staring at the flames rising from his hand, his eyes filled with obvious panic. He was speechless; he had just said that there was nothing wrong with Lucci transforming into Ace.

"Lucci must know how to put out the flames on his hand, right?" Lucci thought to himself, watching the flames on Ace's hand grow larger and larger.

"Hey, Lucci, your flames can't get any bigger, they'll burn the ship down!" Usopp shouted in terror as he watched the flames on Ace's hand grow larger and larger.

"I...I don't know how to take it back." Ace (Lucci) looked at the flames in his hand growing larger and larger with some panic. He wanted to take them back, but why were they getting bigger and bigger?

"Hey, Lucci, what are you doing?" Luffy (Ace) shouted in shock as he looked at Lucci, who was almost completely engulfed in flames. "Calm down and put those flames away!"

"No, I tried it, and it got even bigger!" Lucci shouted, looking at his arm that had turned completely into flames. He had just tried it, but it was completely useless; instead, it burned even more intensely.

"Just throw it out," Lucci (Luffy) said with a grin, completely ignoring the panic of the crowd.

Upon hearing Luffy's words, Lucci immediately mimicked the pose Ace usually made when using Fire Fist. He could feel all the energy in his body gathering in his hand. "Fire Fist!"

"Wow, that's amazing..." Usopp murmured, feeling the heat of Lucci's attack.

"It worked!" Ace (Lucci) shouted excitedly as he looked at the bright flame he had unleashed.

"Lucci, don't misuse my abilities!" Luffy (Ace) shouted at Lucci in dissatisfaction.

"I'm using Ace's, you're Luffy." Ace (Lucci) joked with a smile. He didn't take Ace's words seriously at all. He still had many things to experiment with, and he wouldn't return them so easily.

"I am Ace!" Luffy (Ace) shouted in dissatisfaction.

"I'm Luffy!" Lucci (Luffy) grinned and stepped forward. "Lucci, how do you use your Devil Fruit ability?!"

"that's all……"

"Luffy, don't use it recklessly!" Qi hurriedly reminded him, but the next second, seeing the huge shadow constantly gathering behind Luffy, he couldn't help but cover his face, realizing he was doomed.

"Wow! That's so cool!!" Luffy's eyes lit up as he watched the shadows being merged into his surroundings. "Lucci, can you get even bigger!? Like a giant!?"

"Hey, Luffy, that's enough! It can't get any bigger!" Ace (Lucci) shouted anxiously as he looked at his increasingly pale face. If it got any bigger, there would be side effects.

"Hehehe, but I think it can get even bigger!" Lucci (Luffy) shouted excitedly as he looked at the growing shadow behind him. "I'm going to make it as big as a giant!"

"Lucci, I've never seen you use this move before." Ace frowned as he looked at the giant shadow behind Luffy. It had really turned into a giant, and the red light emanating from its eyes sent constant warnings through his mind.

"I've never done anything this big before." Lucci was also somewhat shocked as he looked at the dark figure behind Luffy. He himself had never tried anything to this extent and didn't know what the side effects would be.

"Hey, go!" Luffy grinned and pointed ahead, making his signature move, "Gum-Gum Pistol!" at the air.

"Why did you even give it a name!" Nami, Chopper, Usopp, and Momonosuke hid behind the mainmast, trembling as they watched the black shadow follow Luffy's movements and throw punches into the air. Almost the instant it clenched its fist and retreated, a flash of lightning and thunder enveloped the area, even affecting the clouds in the sky.

The giant black fist swung violently, and the resulting shockwave shattered the sky, cracked the clouds, and roared with thunder. Its power even caused the sea to split open, creating thunderous waves that shook the Sunny.

Luffy dashed to the ship's side, his fingers gripping the railing so tightly they turned an eerie white, as if all the blood had been drained from his knuckles. He looked up at the chaotic scene unfolding in the sky, his wide eyes gleaming with undisguised amazement and curiosity. "Wow...so amazing!!"

"Enough, Luffy, take it back right now!!" Ace (Lucci) shouted, now regretting why he had taught Luffy this.

"No, I've got a great idea!" Luffy shouted excitedly, then started to have Blackie put him on his head. "Blackie, go over there!"

Looking at Luffy, who was having a blast, Luffy patted Lucci on the shoulder and said helplessly, "There's nothing I can do about it."

"Forget it, let's just ignore him. Hopefully, it'll just be like before, only a few hours of immobility." Lucci watched Luffy standing on top of the shadowy figure, directing the black shadowy figure to make various attack moves on the sea surface. Luckily, he knew to stay away. "Keep an eye on him and don't let him fall into the sea."

After Lucci finished speaking, he couldn't wait to start studying Ace's flames. Rather than worrying about the unknown side effects, he was more interested in Ace's existing flames and how high the flames could reach.

Ace stared at the various shapes of flames appearing on Lucci's body and the black shadow stirring up the storm alongside Luffy. Then, looking at his own rubber arms and legs that stretched out in different directions, making it seem like he was barely able to stand, he couldn't help but wonder, "Luffy, what can this rubber thing of yours do?"

"Luffy!!" Everyone screamed in terror as they watched the suddenly vanishing shadow and Luffy plummet straight into the sea.
