Chapter 388 Strange Intruder

Chapter 388 Strange Intruder

"What!?"

A shocked gasp came from Marco. He didn't know when his brothers gathered around him and were listening to Luffy's voice with him. It was not their fault. After all, they mentioned Ace and Luffy's names several times, and now everyone was paying close attention to these two names.

"Are you talking about breaking into Impel Down?" Thatch leaned in front of the Den Den Mushi and asked in disbelief. "No one has ever been able to do that before."

"Who are you? I'm going to rescue Ace no matter what. I will do it."

"Hey, little guy, I'm Thatch. Listen to me, Luffy. We are all ready and will definitely rescue Ace from the execution platform. No one dares to hurt our brother."

"I won't wait for you. I'm going to push on into the city and rescue my brother."

Marco and Thatch looked at each other, Ace would kill them.

"Wait, where are you now?" Marco asked.

"I don't know, a country full of women, oh, it's the Amazon..."

"By the way, you haven't answered me yet. Do you know where Lucci is now? He's with Ace, but I haven't seen any news about him in the newspaper."

Hearing Luffy's anxious voice, Marco explained, "We didn't find any trace of him in Banaro, but his sword was left there. He must be with Ace."

There was a brief silence, and the Den Den Mushi in his hand had a gloomy expression.

"Listen, Luffy, you can't just rush into Impel Down with your friends like this." Marco tried to stop Luffy's dangerous idea.

Den Den Mushi was silent for a long time before saying, "I don't have any friends. I'm alone."

"Are you planning to start a war with the navy in Marineford? That way, we can only rescue Ace." Luffy's voice was unusually clear. "I want to save both of them. I won't lose either brother."

"Wait!" Marco shouted hurriedly.

"He's hung up." Thatch looked at the snail whose call was terminated. "As expected of Ace's brother, they are just as headstrong as ever."

"Gulalalalal, maybe we should reconsider our plan." Whitebeard laughed.

"Dad!" Marco turned his head and looked at his dad who had been standing on the deck for some time.

"That kid is right, we should give the navy a surprise." Whitebeard grinned.

Just then, the Den Den Mushi that had just hung up rang again.

"Hello, are you the Whitebeard Pirates?"

……

"Saab!"

Sabo lay on the table, his head suddenly raised, groaning at the light that suddenly pierced his eyes. He closed his eyes, adjusted to the light, and slowly opened them. Kerla was staring at him expressionlessly.

"Hi, Kerla."

"Don't call me Kerla!" Kerla looked angrily at Sabo who was lying on the table. She could see his messy hair and bags under his eyes. "You should rest. How can you help if you can't stay awake?"

"What's the matter?" Sabo yawned and ignored Kerla's roar.

"An intruder has broken into the base and we've detained him." Kerla said expressionlessly, "You should be taking a normal day off instead of doing paperwork here!"

He ignored Kerla's advice on how to rest. He was more curious about the intruder. They chose Baldigo for a reason. It was a small island far away from the world. No records pointed to it. Moreover, it was a white wasteland. No trees or plants had ever grown here. Apart from the revolutionary army, there were no other towns or residents. "How could someone invade here?"

"It's not an invasion." Kerla was also puzzled. Thinking of the claw mark, he sighed, "Because he was sent here by the bear."

Sabo put his hand to his chin and fell into thought, the bears would not easily reveal their base, so why did he do this?

"Has his identity been found?"

"He doesn't look like a spy working for the government. We can only confirm that he is a member of the Straw Hat Pirates, but it's strange that he doesn't have a bounty." Kerla said thoughtfully, "There is information that he seems to be the vice-captain of the Straw Hat Pirates."

"The Straw Hat Pirates?" Sabo repeated. He had some impression of this pirate group. After all, there were few people who were not members of the Revolutionary Army who directly challenged the World Government and completely destroyed the World Government's Judicial Island.

"That's it. The latest news is that the captain of this pirate group, Straw Hat Luffy, defeated the Celestial Dragons in the Sabaody Archipelago." Kerla smiled brightly.

"I want to see him." Sabo grinned. After all, to some extent, the Revolutionary Army should be grateful to the Straw Hat crew. After all, they successfully protected Nico Robin. She was the only person O'Hara knew who could decipher the text of history. If she was controlled by the World Government, the world would only fall into greater chaos and turmoil.

Before going to visit the imprisoned pirates, Sabo first took a look at the claw marks mentioned by Kerla to confirm that it was the bear's ability. He had also been transported to different places by the bear's ability before, and this was indeed a sign of the bear's ability. The only question was why?

He would not do such a thing easily, especially since the destination was their base.

The prison is located on the east side of the base. It is rarely used because they don't want the enemy to know the true location of their base. There are two prison guards at the entrance of the prison. After greeting them, Sabo quickly entered the gate.

A gray corridor appeared in front of him, and Sabo walked straight to the end of the corridor. There were no other prisoners in the building except the Straw Hat member. Kerla was already interrogating the prisoner. After all, she didn't need to confirm whether it was a bear's paw print.

At the end of the corridor, he saw Kerla with his arms crossed over his chest, frowning, and looking calmly at the people in the cell. "You can't just ask to see our leader."

"Then let me out. I have things to do."

It was a young man's voice, and it sounded familiar. Sabo frowned.

"Sabo." Kerla called him.

"Saab?"

Sabo turned his head in confusion to look in the direction of the cell. The prisoner's full face appeared from the shadows. He was a man about his age. An iron rod made of seastone stood between them.

He had a strange look in his eyes, as if he knew him, but he was sure he had never seen him before.

"Who are you? What is your purpose here?" Sabo ignored the pirate's inquiring eyes and interrogated with a calm expression.

"Oh, I'm Qi, the vice-captain of the Straw Hat Pirates. I was beaten away by a guy named Kuma in Sabaody, and when I woke up, I appeared here." Qi answered calmly. Although he suspected that this Sabo was Luffy and his brother when they were young, he was not sure.

"Why would a pirate like you be sent here by a bear?"

"I don't know. It wasn't me who asked to come here." Qi complained, "I lost consciousness after his palm touched me, and then I ended up here."
