Chapter 258 Rescue of Merry

Luffy looked up in the direction of the sound.

"Uncle Fortress, so you are there!" Luffy grinned.

"This is my room," Jonathan replied calmly, his arms folded.

"It's Commander Baron!" Usopp whispered while hiding behind the wall.

"It seems to be Jonathan." Sanji looked at Jonathan, who looked calm and not surprised by their appearance. Thinking of what Lucci said, he couldn't help but frowned and said seriously, "There will be a big battle soon."

"I told you, uncle, I will go out when I want to!" Luffy grinned at Jonathan.

"Indeed, so do you want to go out now?" Jonathan asked with a smile.

"That's right, we are going out now." Luffy grinned.

"Can you escape? From this Baron." Jonathan added cheerfully, "No, can you escape from me?"

"How could we be caught by you? We are pirates." Luffy showed a wild smile on his face.

While Luffy and Jonathan were talking, Usopp noticed that the shells from the other side were aimed in their direction and hurriedly warned, "Luffy is in danger!"

"Wuhu!" Luffy excitedly hugged Usopp and ran towards the bridge, dodging the shells fired at them.

Jonathan looked at the wall of the central tower that was destroyed by their own people, and couldn't help but cover his face with a helpless look.
