Chapter 211 Barty Crouch
Chapter 211 Barty Crouch
Suddenly, a wizard appeared on the lawn beside them, wearing a spotless suit that was ironed without a single wrinkle.
Just like him, dull and boring.
"Barty! We were just talking about you," Bagman welcomed him with open arms and eyes wide, seeing Barty was like seeing gold.
Afro looked curiously at this character who appeared throughout the entire fourth grade plot. His meticulous hair and elegant clothes made him look like an insurance salesman in the Muggle world.
Batty looked tired and found a place to sit down. Afro keenly noticed that Batty habitually leaned outside when walking, leaving room for one person next to him.
But there was no one beside him.
Afro quietly changed his position to a position very close to Batty, and secretly observed him with his peripheral vision.
She was sure that Batty had a little secret.
"Little Afu, have you forgotten? There is another Batty."
After being reminded by 23, Afro finally found the few plots he remembered in the corner of his mind.
Before Afro could respond, Percy stood up excitedly and stood right in front of Afro.
23: Very good, young man, you will soon be able to break the shortest time between being single and breaking up.
"Mr. Crouch, would you like a cup of tea?" Percy was so excited that sweat was coming out of his forehead. He leaned down and bowed, introducing himself to him respectfully.
Afro looked at the boy's standard 90-degree bow, and sighed silently in her heart. If she had seen this, she would have to kneel down and kowtow to Percy, calling him "Ancestor".
"Okay, okay." Barty said to Percy with a hint of impatience in his voice, "Thank you, Weatherby."
Fred and George didn't care whether the occasion was appropriate or not, they just laughed out loud, almost dropping Afro in their arms to the ground.
"He didn't even remember Percy's name."
Percy glanced at Aphrodite awkwardly, his ears turned pink, and he pretended to bury his head in arranging the teapot, but his eyes couldn't help but drift towards the girl.
Afro watched him walk into the tent carrying the teapot, sighed, and while everyone's attention was on Bagman and Barty, he stood up and quietly slipped into the tent.
"Percy?"
Percy heard a familiar voice and the teapot in his hand accidentally fell out. The crisp sound of ceramic clashing called his attention back.
"I'll be there soon." He reached out to pick up the can of tea leaves, but found that Afro had already handed it to him.
Percy was stunned for a moment, whispered a thank you, and then took over and continued to make tea.
The room was quiet for a while before Percy slowly spoke: "Was I stupid just now?"
Afro walked behind him and patted his back.
“A little.”
Percy hadn't expected the girl to be so frank, and her words made the boy's fragile heart beat aggrievedly in his chest.
He turned around, pursed his lips and looked at Afro, who was crossing his arms and teasing him, "I just want to make myself look more mature."
Afro stepped forward, and the distance between them kept getting closer, and they could hear each other's breathing as they met.
"But Percy, you're already good enough. You don't need to prove anything to us. And you don't need to give up yourself in order to prove anything." Afro held the boy's face and stroked it gently.
Percy reached out, wrapped his arms around her waist, and pulled the girl closer to him.
He had made up his mind early on to work hard to seize power and be a strong supporter of his family. After meeting Afro, he secretly planned the girl into his future.
Teenagers who are secretly in love always ignore their own strengths and constantly magnify their shortcomings.
He was always afraid that he was not good enough and could not enter her life, even just as a friend.
Therefore, he had always hoped to gain recognition from his superiors so that he could rise quickly in the Ministry of Magic.
"I'm afraid I'm not good enough..." Percy lowered his head and buried it in the side of Aphrodite's neck, his soft nose rubbing against the skin, leaving a gentle touch.
Afro stroked his hair tenderly and lovingly, "No, Percy is the best wizard in the world!"
