Chapter 165 Knowing the "Truth"

Chapter 165 Knowing the "Truth"

"That's Madam Rosmerta." Ron saw Avro staring at a tavern in the distance and introduced her enthusiastically.

"He's the owner of the Three Broomsticks." Hermione looked at Rosmerta's pretty face and her face turned a little red.

A breeze blew by, lifting the hair on her forehead. What really caught Afro's attention was not the bar owner, but a horse-drawn open carriage.

Sitting there was Fudge, an acquaintance of Aphrodite and Harry.

The tall Hagrid used a little force and accidentally removed the door of the carriage. He carefully hid the door in his open windbreaker. Fortunately, Fudge was only concerned with greeting Rosmerta and did not notice that his innocent and weak door had been killed by Hagrid.

"Strange, why is the Ministry of Magic here?"

When Ron saw Hagrid and Fudge, he immediately stood in front of Harry and Avro to prevent him from seeing people who shouldn't be there.

"It should be for Sirius." Miss Hermione, who is a know-it-all, first thought of the news report from a few days ago.

Sirius had been in Hogsmeade before.

Just as they were wondering about the Ministry of Magic's intentions, Afro received a new task.

"Side quest - True or False: Help Harry to distinguish the truth. Reward: 10,000 points. 10,000 points will be deducted if failed."

The incident happened in an instant. While Afro was still discussing with 23 what this mission meant, Harry suddenly put on his invisibility cloak and strode towards the bar.

"Harry!"

Afraid that shouting too loudly would attract other people's attention, Afro grabbed the corner of the invisibility cloak and whooshed inside like a loach.

She and Harry hid under the Invisibility Cloak and followed Fudge into the bar.

"Aphrodite?"

Harry didn't expect the girl to move so quickly, and his unconscious sound almost gave them away.

Afro put one hand over Harry's mouth and pointed to the corner where Fudge disappeared. Harry nodded, understanding what she meant, and stepped onto the stairs with the Invisibility Cloak covering their heads.

Ron and Hermione, who followed closely behind, were stopped outside the bar because underage wizards were not allowed to enter today.

There was no other choice, so Hermione and Ron had to stand on the street across from the bar and wait for the two "warriors" to come out.

"You know, I still can't believe that Sirius did this." Rosmerta closed the door that Harry pushed open, turned around and walked to the sofa, "I remember when he was in Hogwarts, he wasn't like this-"

"You don't know his other side at all!" Fudge threw his snow-stained coat on the armrest of the chair with force, his tone full of anger.

Sirius's escape made the Minister of Magic very anxious. He had to face countless wizard families and media inquiries every day. The lack of progress in the case put his career in great crisis.

If he can't resolve this matter, his official career will be over.

"Do you remember who Sirius' best friend is?" Professor McGonagall stood between the two of them, waving her hands in the hope that they could both calm down.

"Of course, they are always inseparable, James and Sirius."

Harry's breathing suddenly paused for a moment, and his rapid breath spread over Afro's palm. Her other free hand groped for him.

Harry quickly returned to normal. His heart seemed to be pulled up by someone. A voice in his heart told him not to listen anymore, but his feet seemed to be nailed by nails, making him unable to move even a step.

McGonagall and several Hogwarts professors who arrived later talked about what happened to Sirius and James in school, and the atmosphere became relaxed.

Their laughter was soon interrupted by someone, Fudge poured himself a glass of brandy, holding the small glass but not taking a sip.

"But he betrayed James's location. He told You-Know-Who and killed their friend Peter Pettigrew."

The room fell silent. They were not aware of the situation at the time, but they sighed in their hearts when they heard the news.

Harry took a step back in disbelief, and Afro, who was standing behind him, gently supported his shaking body. But the warm embrace did not free Harry from the cold.

He felt as if his heart, which had just been grabbed by someone, was thrown into the winter lake again, and the cold instantly overwhelmed him.

"2333, quickly exchange for a portal." Afro, who was always paying attention to Harry's emotions, felt that the current situation was a little critical and the invisibility cloak might not be able to take them away.

Fudge added the scene when the Aurors arrived. They all agreed that it was Sirius who informed on the murder of Peter who wanted to help James.

"He wants to wipe out the roots now and kill Harry, so..."

Fudge's voice became increasingly quiet, and several professors had to lean their heads close together to hear what he was saying.

"But Sirius is Harry's godfather. James admitted it himself." Professor McGonagall's crying voice became the last straw that broke the camel's back for Harry.

Just when Harry wanted to rush out, the portal 23 was placed.

Harry's mind was full of Professor McGonagall's words, and he didn't even notice how Avro teleported him back to the Shrieking Shack.

He sat on a stone in a daze, his eyes lost their luster and became empty. The thoughts in his mind disturbed him.

Avro borrowed Draco's method to pass the message to Hermione and Ron who were missing. Then she squatted beside the stone, took off her gloves, and covered Harry's clasped hands.

Harry subconsciously clenched her hands. Only these hands could make him feel a little warmth.

"Why didn't they tell me? Tell me about their relationship?" He stared at Afro blankly, the muscles on his face trembling faintly, and the emotions in his eyes became increasingly cold and deep.

This was the first time Afro had seen such emotion in Harry's eyes since he had known him.

It seemed as if he was no longer the simple and kind savior, but a villain behind the scenes.

"Harry." Afro pulled out a hand and gently touched the bottom of his eyes, and Harry reached out and grabbed his wrist. "They may want to protect you, so they didn't tell you."

"But they are friends!"

Looking at Harry who was in endless doubt, Afro felt like a needle piercing her heart. She stood up, hugged him, and tried her best to give him the warmth she had.

"Harry, if they are best friends as Professor McGonagall said, then why would Sirius betray your father?"

Avro's words made the chaotic thoughts in Harry's mind even more confused.

But it also gave him new ideas.

why?

If it was information he was protecting from his best friend, he would never reveal it.

Did Sirius never consider his father as a friend from the beginning?
