Harry Potter: Miss Malfoy

Chapter 183 The storm is coming

Chapter 183 The storm is coming

"Draco, isn't it a bad idea to ignore someone after only being together for a week?"

A week after the second trial, Daphne finally couldn't help it and returned to the dormitory, sitting on the bed and trying to persuade him.

"It's much better than having an affair within half an hour of dating."

Said stubbornly.

In fact, Draco has been soft-hearted before.

But whenever he saw Harry, he would think of Fleur's blushing face after she whispered in his ear.

Obviously, he had never had that kind of expression even in front of Beech.

Thinking of this, Draco's tone remained as cold.

Pansy still looked like she might laugh until her stomach hurt at any moment.

This caused Draco to glance at her angrily.

"Parkinson, do you have anything to say?"

"It's okay, it's okay. Professor Dumbledore told me that at Christmas."

"Youth is so beautiful... Miss Malfoy! Please pay attention to your manners!"

Pansy was only halfway through imitating Dumbledore when Draco threw a pillow at her.

Pansy shouted a warning after running away with a smile.

Then launched a counterattack.

That night in the daughters' dormitory, goose feathers on the pillows were flying.

-

The whispers about Harry and Draco gradually died down as the two had little interaction on campus.

There are so many topics about the Triwizard Tournament.

Even without Draco and Harry, they are still the focus of campus gossip.

Naturally, Hermione and Krum were the first to be hit, and Hermione was also very irritable.

Especially Ron.

Every time Ron saw Hermione, he couldn't help but say a few sarcastic words.

But when it comes to Harry and Draco, it seems like they are rivals.

This made Hermione so angry that she stopped talking to Ron several times.

Harry could only be grateful for Ron's innocence in his heart, but he was afraid to face Hermione several times because of this.

This made him somewhat uncomfortable.

After all, he couldn't share the joy of his love affair with Ron.

Now it seemed that if he had said more to Hermione,

Hermione would probably just drop her History of Magic textbook on her head.

To make matters worse, Draco had been ignoring him for a week.

And he knew exactly why.

But on Friday morning, after receiving the familiar handwriting,

Harry decided to talk to Draco no matter what.

Fortunately, there was a Potions class with Slytherin that day.

Harry walked into the cellar with the note, repeating the message from Sirius in his mind.

?Meet me at the top of the steps leading out of Hogsmeade at 2pm on Saturday.

Bring as much food as you can.

p.s. bring her along, if she wants. I should get to know this cousin, too.

-

In Potions class, Draco still seemed determined to ignore him.

As usual, she sat at the long table in the middle of the first row.

And that was exactly the position Harry avoided.

Snape seemed to still be resentful of the Gryffindor students, who were instigated by the Weasley twins.

Made up a song to mock his beloved disciple.

About two-thirds of the class time.

It was Snape who read the Daily Prophet word for word.

A fair, if somewhat boring, report on the Triwizard Tournament.

Mysteriously, he always picked out descriptions of Harry's poor performance.

Stating it with emphasis, leaving out any paragraphs about Draco.

Harry was on pins and needles, but Draco just listened with a blank expression the whole time.

Harry could only comfort himself that at least it wasn't written by Rita Skeeter.

Harry still didn't understand why Skeeter had suddenly disappeared.

But he was somewhat thankful for that.

I can't imagine him dancing with Draco at the ball.

And the second trial was to rescue Draco.

What a horrible disaster it would have been if it had fallen into Skeeter's hands.

Draco didn't like gossip.

If Skeeter had come to interfere at this time, perhaps their relationship would have ended completely.

(Although he wasn't really sure what the current situation was.)

Draco's indifference didn't end until Karkaroff broke into the Potions classroom.

"We have to talk, now, so you can't slip away."

"You've been avoiding me, Severus."

Then, without waiting for Snape to speak, Karkaroff walked up to him and pulled open the left sleeve of his robes.

There must be something odd on the inside of his arm to have shown it to Snape like that.

"It hasn't been this obvious before, since—"

Karkaroff was worried, but Snape had a stern face and threatened loudly.

"Cover it up for me."

Karkaroff shuddered for a moment, then lowered his sleeves.

Before his robe sleeve covered his elbow, he walked out of the cellar angrily.

Draco, who was sitting in the first row, seemed to see the totem on the arm.

At that moment, Draco gasped.

Harry was sure that, at that moment, Snape's expression showed worry.

But that was just a blink of an eye.

Then, for the first time in a long time, Harry and Draco's eyes met.

-

Before Karkaroff stormed off, Draco saw clearly that

His pale arms were branded with a totem that was already clearly recognizable.

The Dark Mark.

My mind raced.

So, was it the same symbol that caused my father pain that day?

What did Karkaroff mean?

Thinking back to the night after the novice ball.

In all the years I grew up, I had never seen my father stroking his left forearm with that expression.

I have never seen Severus show such an expression in class.

I guess it was because I cried out in surprise when I first saw the Dark Lord's mark.

Was Karkaroff saying that the Dark Mark was becoming more and more obvious?

Does this mean that the Dark Lord is becoming more powerful?

And then? Will he come back?

What about Father? What about Severus? What would they do?

Judging from their previous reactions, the Dark Lord obviously still had some influence over the two of them.

Then Draco remembered the situation between him and Harry.

There are some difficult problems that I have always been reluctant to face or mention.

What about Harry? What would Harry do?

She was so soft-hearted that she no longer cared about what Furong had done.

He subconsciously looked at Harry, and he was looking at him.

Without saying a word, it was clear that they had made a small agreement before their eyes met.
