"Heh, you think you're my match just because you have two weapons in hand?"

The voice laughed, and then endless tentacles rushed madly toward Ron.

Ron wielded his longsword, transforming it into beams of light that enveloped him.

Countless tentacles were cut in two by the longsword, but even more tentacles surged forward, seemingly without end.

Even so, Ron did not lose faith.

He persisted, determined not to give up until the very last moment.

He swung his long sword as he approached the wall.

"Do you think you can still escape now that things have come to this? That's ridiculous."

The voice rang in Ron's ears.

Accompanying that sound was an even larger and more powerful tentacle that sent Ron flying.

Ron's longsword, which he had held across his chest, was shattered in two by the force of the impact.

Chapter 7, The Cursed Realm

Ron slammed hard onto the ground.

He felt the world spinning around him, and all the scenery became blurry in an instant.

It took him a while to come to his senses.

That attack just now almost cost him his life.

Ron struggled to his feet and found a deep gash where he had just been lying.

One can imagine how powerful the force just now was.

Ron used his broken longsword to support himself as he slowly stood up.

"hateful."

This guy is far more powerful than he imagined.

I thought I had a chance to escape several times.

But the sudden attack from the other side left him with no chance to escape.

"Now do you realize how terrifying I am?"

That voice rang in Ron's ears once again.

"Unfortunately, it's all too late."

You had no chance of escaping.

Now we can only die here, rot here.

The voice was full of mockery.

He seemed to relish Ron's terrified gaze and eagerly anticipated hearing Ron's screams and pleas for mercy.

Unfortunately, Ron did not show any fear; he just smiled faintly.

"I admit you are indeed very powerful."

But so what? I'll kill you.

After saying that, Ron held the broken sword across his chest and said...

"Bring it on, let me see just how far you can go."

At this point, Ron quickly brandished his broken sword.

Actually, his injury is quite serious now.

However, even with the broken sword in his hands, he was still able to unleash a powerful attack.

The voice was clearly surprised.

"I never expected you to still be able to fight even at this level."

I underestimated you, but unfortunately, even so, you still can't escape.

Before he finished speaking, countless tentacles coalesced once again into several enormous tentacles, which rushed madly toward Ron.

Each tentacle contains terrifying energy, and this energy is extremely destructive.

Even before it reached Ron, Ron could feel the terrifying aura emanating from this energy.

But Ron showed no sign of panic; he still held the broken sword across his chest, protecting his vitals.

He knew that no matter what kind of opponent he faced, he had to remain calm and never lose his composure.

This is precisely the time when he needs to remain calm.

If he loses his composure even slightly at this moment, these tentacles will surely seize the opportunity to strike him dead.

Ron had witnessed the power of these tentacles before.

If it weren't for him being there, Taiichiro might have already been sucked to death by these tentacles.

There was a loud bang.

A deep pit immediately appeared where Ron had just been standing.

Ron had already dodged away, putting distance between himself and the tentacle.

However, he did not let his guard down.

Because there were two more tentacles around him, they launched another attack on him.

Ron's broken sword slashed fiercely at one of the tentacles.

Ron felt as if he had struck steel.

With a crisp sound, sparks flew from Ron's broken sword.

However, the tentacle remained completely unharmed.

"Do you think you can hurt me with just this knife? Without your magic power, you are nothing."

The voice rang in Ron's ears again.

Ron roared.

"Shut up, or I'll show you what I'm capable of very soon."

At this point, Ron forced himself to calm down.

He carefully observed his surroundings.

He discovered that each time these tentacles attacked him, they would choose to cover up a certain part of his body.

That place seems to be the weakest point of all of them.

Moreover, Ron discovered that these tentacles seemed to originate from that place.

On the surface, the tentacles seem to be coming from all directions, but in reality, they all originate from the same place.

Then they surrounded Ron from all sides.

Once Ron realized this, he understood.

It turns out that although the opponent does possess very strong strength, they are not invincible.

He will still have weaknesses, but these weaknesses are not easy for others to find.

The curse seemed to have discovered that Ron had sensed his weakness.

He said this with some annoyance.

"Don't think you know some truth; you don't at all."

You are no match for me.

At this point, the surging tentacles surged forth once more.

They coalesced into enormous tentacles.

Moreover, the attacks have become more powerful and faster.

Ron knew his guess might be right.

Otherwise, why would the other party be so angry now?

Ron said.

"In that case, I'll give it a try."

He quickened his pace as he spoke.

But the opponent's attacks became increasingly fierce, and Ron was almost unable to defend himself.

He had barely managed to stay afloat by those two broken swords, avoiding being hurt by the tentacles.

But now even the broken sword is riddled with all sorts of cracks and is about to break.

If even this only weapon is destroyed, Ron really doesn't know how he'll be able to break the curse.
