American Comics: Even as a god of light, the cheat system finally appears. Author: Primordial City Ultraman
Good news! I've been transported to become Baldr, the god of light, one of the twelve Norse gods.
Bad news: It's from the Marvel universe!
Even worse news: He's a complete noob who only exists in drafts and was instantly defeated by Scarlet Witch with a single sentence!
Fortunately, the cheat code to cross realms was activated.
In the world of Chronicle, miracles manifest, igniting global madness and reuniting faith.
In the world of "Demon Slayer," they instigate the authority of God.
In the world of The Boys, divine power descends to cleanse the world of sin and summon warriors of the gods.
In the world of "War of the Gods", a war of gods begins. Will you submit or be destroyed?
Transformers, Godzilla, The Cabin in the Woods, DC...
When Thanos gathered all the Infinity Stones and prepared to snap his fingers, a magnificent cross stretched across the universe, and a sacred sound resounded throughout the multiverse.
I am Holy Baldr, Lord of Billions of Light, Sovereign of the Multiverse!
Thanos: ? ? ? ?
Chapter One: Baal, the God of Light
Asgard, the Temple of Light.
In the temple, which is full of the rugged Nordic style, a tall and slender figure sat on the throne.
Unlike the rugged Nordic style around him, this figure exuded a noble and elegant aura, coupled with the ancient aura inherent in long-lived beings, making him seem like a nobleman who had stepped out of an ancient epic.
A noble, elegant, and subtly divine aura surrounds him, making him resemble a god.
Or rather, he himself is a god.
Baldr, one of the twelve Norse gods, is the god of light!
At this moment, the chief god opened his eyes. What appeared in his eyes was not the indifference of a god, but rather a self-mockery that should not exist in the eyes of a god.
"I really don't know whether to be happy or to force a smile~"
It was a time travel, no, not entirely. It was more like an awakening after reincarnation.
Because of a battle with Thor, he was accidentally hit on the head, which awakened his original innate wisdom, or rather, memories from his previous life.
Only after fully absorbing all of his memories did he become who he is now, a new and complete God of Light, Baldr.
In my previous life, although I was just an ordinary member of the blue planet, I still had some knowledge of Norse mythology.
Baldr, the god of light, is one of the twelve Olympian gods of Norse mythology!
Unlike Apollo, the god of light in Greek mythology, who is also one of the twelve Olympian gods, Baldr, the god of light, surpasses Apollo in both status and power. Among the twelve Olympian gods, Baldr is firmly in the top five and strives for the top three, second only to Odin and Thor.
Moreover, unlike Thor, who only knows how to fight, Baldr, the god of light, is known for his wisdom and strength in tandem. He is almost a perfect god and a strong contender for the throne of the gods.
Being reborn as such a being should be something to be happy and proud of, right?
Badr initially thought the same thing, until he absorbed all the memories and discovered a serious problem...
The Thor here isn't called Thor, but Thor.
In the Nine Realms, there is a Sorcerer Supreme named Ancient One, whose power is no less than that of Odin, the King of Gods.
Above dimensions exist demon gods, the most famous of whom is the dimensional demon god Dormammu…
This world isn't some Norse mythology world at all, it's the damn Marvel world!
Being reborn as one of the twelve Norse gods is a good thing, but to be reborn as one of the main gods in the Marvel universe...
Check out Thor getting beaten up by humans, Loki the kidney-stabbing maniac, and the Warriors Three of Norse mythology fighting like ordinary people with weapons.
The Norse gods in the Marvel universe are a bunch of comedic characters; don't talk about destroying planets or the world! Even if Thor awakens and unleashes his full power, he'll only blow up a street.
Gods? Gods my ass, they're just a bunch of aliens with slightly longer lifespans.
The Celestials, the Five Great Gods, and so on in the Marvel universe—only those are qualified to be called gods.
He unconsciously rubbed his slightly furrowed brow: "The Asgardian gods in the Marvel universe are embarrassing enough, and now I've become Baldr..."
In his past life, he was quite fond of Marvel, so he knew a lot about it. Also out of interest, he even deliberately searched why the Norse gods in Marvel were incomplete.
This investigation revealed that while they couldn't find any information about other gods, such as the god of war Tyr and the god of darkness Hodr, they actually found clues about the god of light Baldr.
In just one sentence, he was utterly defeated by Scarlet Witch.
Even so, it was abandoned; in other words, it was a complete waste of time.
There are numerous parallel universes in Marvel, and who knows which universe this is? Some of the things that should only exist in drafts have suddenly appeared.
It doesn't matter which universe it is; what matters is the information contained in this sentence: Baldr in Marvel is weak, and there's a high chance he'll face off against Scarlet Witch in the future.
The thought of this made Bader feel increasingly uneasy.
It's annoying!
He took a deep breath and felt the power within his body.
To be fair, it's not as weak as you might imagine. You can feel a surge of power, but it's definitely not comparable to the power in mythology that can easily destroy mountains and even cleanse the earth.
"According to the Marvel universe, only by crossing the barrier known as the Quasi-Father can one truly step into the threshold of becoming a powerful being. If one goes further and reaches the level of the Father, then one will truly gain power that is no less than that of the pure mythology, and may even surpass it."
Surtur, a fire giant of the Celestial level, single-handedly destroyed the entire Asgard, creating Ragnarok.
Laufey, a Frost Giant of the Celestial level, possessing the treasured Box of Frost, is explicitly stated in the original work to be able to freeze an entire planet.
In other words, Marvel's combat power is not weak. If you add in the Celestials, the Five Great Gods, etc., its potential far exceeds that of a normal mythological world.
The world level is very high; the only weak ones are the Asgardian gods in Marvel.
And this doesn't even include Odin, the king of gods. Odin, the king of gods, was able to defeat Surtur and seize the Ice Box. When he went all out, he was definitely at the level of destroying a planet.
"Only by becoming the Father of God can one escape the realm of a novice. At that point, if one were to truly face the Scarlet Witch, one would not be instantly defeated by a single sentence."
As for things like Scarlet Witch being beautiful, I don't have time to think about those right now.
If not the Father of God, then Scarlet Witch is the Great Father.
Entering the realm of the Father, one can have some ideas.
To become a Heavenly Father means not only having ideas, but also taking action.
If one were to surpass the Heavenly Father and enter the ranks of true supreme beings at the level of a single universe, Scarlet Witch? What Scarlet Witch? She's just a hot girl you can easily manipulate!
Badr is very clear-headed about what kind of thinking one should have based on their strength.
"There is no real cultivation method in this world that allows one to continuously become stronger. Almost everyone follows the path of the poor relying on mutation and the rich relying on technology."
"Fortunately, as one of the Asgardian gods, there is a clear path to becoming stronger. According to the Marvel setting related to the Asgardian gods, the Asgardian gods all increase their divine power on their own as they age, eventually reaching a point around five thousand years old, exceeding the limits that their bodies can withstand, and thus they die."
In some respects, the Asgardian gods could theoretically achieve immortality if they could overcome the drawbacks of their physical strength.
Bader didn't care much about that point; he was more concerned about something else: "In other words, if I grow normally and live to be four or five thousand years old, based on my bloodline and status, I could probably easily enter the level of the sub-Father, which is the realm of the Father. It's not entirely impossible."
But it's too slow!!
He's about the same age as Thor, only a little over a thousand years old now. By two or three thousand years, he'll probably be completely gone.
Aside from this path, Marvel doesn't really have a clear route to becoming stronger that suits him; mutations and technology don't work for him.
As for Asgardian magic and combat techniques, those are merely methods and skills, not the path to continuous power.
Just as Badr frowned, pondering the future, a strange feeling suddenly flashed through his mind.
"Huh, what's this?"
Chapter Two: The Gate Between Worlds
Badr closed his eyes tightly, his consciousness sinking into his sea of consciousness. He vaguely sensed that something seemed to be hidden within his sea of consciousness.
In a short while, a magnificent gate of light slowly took shape in the sea of consciousness.
As he gazed at the gate of light before him, which seemed to contain infinite wonders, a strange light flickered in Baldr's eyes.
There was absolutely no such thing in my original memory, and the artifact that belonged exclusively to Baldr was not a door.
So, this is his cheat code?
Thinking of this, the strange light in Badr's eyes shone even brighter.
But soon, he frowned again.
"How to use this thing?"
"Manual activation, or conscious control?"
Thinking this, the Gate of Light before him seemed to sense his master's doubts. In an instant, a beam of light burst forth from it and instantly entered Baldr's mind.
A message then appeared in Badr's mind.
A moment later, Badr opened his eyes again, a sharp glint flashing in them.
"The Gate of Transcendental Space can open a portal to all the heavens and myriad worlds!"
Badr took a deep breath; as a reborn being, he knew all too well the power of this portal.
There are no explicit methods for becoming stronger in the Marvel universe, but other universes certainly do.
Myriad realms, countless worlds, endless resources, endless possibilities...
Given enough worlds and enough resources, even something as seemingly insurmountable as a sub-Father or a Father could become possible. It's not impossible to truly ascend to the highest level, reaching or even rivaling the One-Above-All (OAA), the supreme being of the Marvel universe!
"Turn on!"
In an instant, the portal before them trembled, and endless light converged from within it. A moment later, three vortexes appeared on the portal.
"the day after tomorrow"
