Chapter 14 Blood God: It's fake, it's fake, it's all fake!
Chapter 14 Blood God: It's fake, it's fake, it's all fake!
"Insects, I'm here."
The Blood God's lips curled into a cruel smile. His figure flashed, and he was about to break through the dimensional barrier and descend upon Earth in Universe 404.
boom!
Three enormous magic arrays radiating golden light appeared, forming a powerful magical shield that blocked the Blood God.
The Ancient One, dressed in a yellow trench coat, stepped forward: "Blood God, please return. There is nothing here that you seek."
"Are you the guardian of this world?" Blood God looked at the Ancient One before him and threatened:
“You can’t keep that thing. Everyone who sees it gets a share. Let me in, otherwise... even if you can kill this clone of mine, you can’t stop me from spreading the message.”
The moment Blood God saw the Ancient One, he felt a strong sense of crisis.
But... it doesn't matter. What can't be obtained by force, can be obtained by strategy.
"Things? What things?" Gu Yi chuckled, waved his hand, and opened a gap in the magic array. "Blood God, why don't you take another closer look and see if what you're looking for is here?"
The Blood God sent a wisp of divine power to probe along the gap.
Why does she seem so confident and fearless?
"Impossible, absolutely impossible! I saw it very clearly then, it was the aura of eternity."
As the divine power probed and the feedback came back, the Blood God couldn't help but exclaim in surprise.
"The aura of eternity?" Ancient One chuckled. "In the endless multiverse, where is there no eternity?"
Blood God, his eyes bloodshot, stared at the Ancient One: "I need to go in and see for myself. If it's not..."
“If not, Blood God, you can stay here in this clone.” Ancient One’s voice turned cold, threatening, “Don’t push your luck. Letting you take a look is already giving you a lot of face.”
Whoosh!
Blood God's breathing intensified, and two streams of scarlet blood dripped into the void with each breath.
"It is the Sorcerer Supreme's responsibility to protect the real world from being corrupted by magic."
Bow down and die.
This is the steadfast commitment of every Supreme Master.
Gu Yi spoke with righteous indignation.
"So there's no room for negotiation?!"
The Blood God secretly gathered energy and went to such great lengths; He would not give up until He went inside to take a look.
Even if this clone dies in battle!
"Want to get in..."
"You'll have to pay more!"
"Nothing to discuss, then... huh?"
"Energy? As long as you can pay enough energy, there's nothing wrong with going in and taking a look," the Ancient One explained.
The Blood God remained silent.
In His endless years, such a shameless and powerful being is rare.
'She was using a feigned retreat to scare me, to dispel my doubts, and to protect her eternal heart;'
Or was all of this a scheme she orchestrated from the very beginning?
Ask first, then make a plan.
"How much energy?"
Gu Yi slowly extended a finger:
"Give me back the amount of energy you transferred to Earth without my permission."
Blood God was furious. "When have I ever needed your permission to do anything?"
“Alright, come with me to the Blood Dimension to retrieve it.”
“No.” Gu Yi shook his head. “Give it to me the same way you transmitted it to Earth.”
The Blood God frowned, and the flow of blood from his body accelerated by three points: "If you do it my way, I can give you twice as much."
Sending energy here from the Blood Dimension results in 9 out of 10 portions being consumed en route, so the Blood God naturally disagreed with the Ancient One's plan.
Ancient One simply smiled at the Blood God without saying a word.
You think I'm after the energy you transmit, but you don't even consider why there's such a large transmission loss.
Either hand over a portion of your energy, go in and take one look, and give up;
Either I take matters into my own hands and extract that energy myself.
Russell can act, but I, the Ancient One, can't?
......
new York.
"Phew, we've finally got all these vampires under control."
Gwen breathed a sigh of relief and exclaimed.
As for the mask, it's long gone, I don't know where it was thrown away.
"Russell, why are you able to inflict irreparable damage on vampires?"
Tony landed as well and asked directly, "Is it because of... magic?"
Russell nodded: "That's right, exactly."
Tony frowned.
If all magical creatures possess this trait, then there's one more area where Warframes need upgrading.
"It's finally over." Blade walked over as well.
Aside from the S.H.I.E.L.D. personnel, the four of them were outsiders and didn't need to participate in cleaning up the battlefield.
"But won't it cause problems to put them in charge of guarding these captured vampires?"
Blade has dealt with vampires for many years and knows all too well what the attitudes of some high-ranking humans are towards vampires.
Now that an upgraded version has been released, it's hard to guarantee that no one will have ulterior motives.
The end? But it's not over yet.
Russell looked up at the sky.
In that direction, two opposing forces are confronting each other.
He exuded the power of the Blood God that he now recognized.
The other one should be the Ancient One.
I wonder what the Ancient One and the Blood God are doing.
Will they fight?
I think so.
Suddenly, a portal glowing with fire opened not far away.
Gu Yi walked out first, followed by a man dressed similarly to her.
Seemingly sensing that someone was watching him, the man looked over.
Russell felt a chill run down his spine.
Blood God!
Russell recognized the man at a glance.
How did He get in?
"Blood God, don't forget our agreement," Ancient One reminded him gently. "If you make a move, this clone will have to stay here."
The Blood God withdrew his gaze.
The important business is ahead; let's not bother with this bug.
"Haha, let's leave things here to S.H.I.E.L.D. Gwen, Tony, Blade, let's go back to the city and rest."
Russell chuckled and suggested that everyone leave first.
It's not safe here anymore; he's going to hide at the Sanctuary of the Dead in New York.
Tony couldn't see the Ancient One and the others, and was unaware of the danger, so he politely declined:
"Russell, you should go back first if you're tired. I'll stay a little longer. In case something happens, I can provide timely support."
“Russell, is there any danger?” Gwen suddenly asked. “My spider-sense just jerked.”
Russell nodded.
"Oh, my arc reactor is almost out of power, I need to go back and get a new one." Tony changed his mind. "Let's go back and rest for a bit."
......
"Blood God, how is it? I already told you there's nothing you're looking for here."
"No, how could there be no? Could I have seen wrong?" Blood God muttered to himself, "Impossible, absolutely impossible!"
Blood God suddenly erupted, unleashing a burst of energy towards Ancient One.
"You must have hidden it!"
The Ancient One summoned an energy shield to block the Blood God's attack.
"Why bother, Blood God? Even now, you still won't admit defeat?"
As she spoke, the space around the Ancient One distorted. "Blood God, if you want to see, I will let you see it clearly."
The mirror space is expanding rapidly.
The Blood God did not resist, allowing the Mirror Space to pull Him in.
"So that's how it is. You orchestrated all of this."
Fake, fake, all fake!
"What eternal heart? It's all a lie."
The Blood God looked frantic.
In this round, He lost completely.
"Blood God, please."
The Ancient One opened a portal, signaling the Blood God to leave.
