Chapter 74 Conversation 1

After two days of observation, Emeric was finally able to leave the principal's office and return to class, and Severus also moved back to the cellar, and the two once again had no contact with each other.

"Severus, are you free tonight? Let's talk."

"Yes, Ms. Elimira."

Severus was somewhat dazed. This was only the second time they had seen Lily since she returned. After all this time, he had no desire to see her at all, and he hadn't even taken the matter to heart.

Dumbledore paused, wondering whether he should mention the possibility of other Horcruxes, which would certainly implicate Emeric.

"Alright, you guys go ahead and get busy. I've finished speaking."

Severus was the first to leave. The potions classroom was the furthest from the headmaster's office, and he now had to take a secret passage to get there. If he was any slower, he would be late.

"Albus, take care of yourself. I'll protect the school."

McGonagall didn't know how she could help him, but she could keep the school in order so that Dumbledore wouldn't be held back.

A few minutes later, a kitten appeared at the cellar door. Emeric first transformed into a human and knocked on the door until someone inside opened it. He took the radish out and immediately transformed back into a cat, the two furry creatures snuggling together.

Severus opened the door but saw no one. Just as he was about to close it, he heard a "click-clack" sound under his feet. Looking down, he saw Emeric and Radish, the two animals squatting together, looking incredibly cute with their soft, squishy appearance.

"What are you two doing here? Did Draco tell on you?"

"What's wrong with Severus? Is something happening outside?"

"It's okay, there are just two little animals that are alone."

Lily noticed that Severus hadn't returned after being out of the door for so long, so she curiously went to the door to see who it was. When she got closer, she found a strange cat and a big-toothed rabbit. She reached out to pick them both up, but only the rabbit obediently stayed where she was, while the cat walked inside and jumped onto the office chair.

Severus definitely won't let me in if I'm in human form, but if I use my cat form to act cute and charming, Lily will definitely feel sorry for me and let me in. Their conversation today will definitely include him.
