Chapter 14 This brother can get along
"I see." Kimura Hama nodded. "Is your anger stemming from the fact that I already have a wife?"
"Isn't that obvious!" Shirakawa Natsu said angrily, "To abandon your wife and contact your childhood sweetheart, as a teacher at Tokyo University, don't you feel ashamed? Or are you just trying to play with Arina's feelings?"
"If I get a divorce, will you still be angry?" Kimura Hama suddenly asked, looking at Shirakawa Natsu.
“You…” Shirakawa Natsu was speechless for a moment.
Hama Kimura said softly, "If you only feel that I played with Arina's feelings, then you have no reason to object to me being with her after my divorce."
"How can someone who can so easily abandon his wife of many years believe that he can bring happiness to Yuzuri-nee?" After her initial anger subsided, Shirakawa Natsumi gradually calmed down.
Hama Kimura shook his head: "I lost my memory four years ago, and my wife has been taking care of me ever since. Her wish is to marry me, so I am repaying her kindness."
"Then you should live a good life with her!" Shirakawa Natsu said angrily.
“But my memory is gradually returning,” Kimura Hama continued. “Hashimoto Arina and I lived together for 22 years.”
"So you abandoned your current wife and you're still so self-righteous!" Shirakawa Natsu was so angry she laughed.
“I made an agreement with Hashimoto Arina,” Kimura Hama said to himself. “I will leave with nothing, leaving everything I have to my wife. I will also support her living expenses until she finds someone she likes and remarries.”
"Two girls, one of whom must be let down. If it were you, Mr. Xia, what would you do?"
"You..." Shirakawa Natsu felt herself falling into his rhythm. If she were in such a situation, could she really do better than him?
"But I've confirmed something tonight," Kimura Hama suddenly smiled and said, "Mr. Natsu likes dishes, right?"
“Yes.” Shirakawa Natsu did not deny it and admitted it directly: “Where do you get the confidence that doing this can bring happiness to Yuzawa? You’re being far too arrogant.”
“That makes sense.” Kimura Hama said softly, “The shelf life of love follows the laws of nature, and humans cannot exceed this limit. For example, the emergence of ovulation in humans is to better nurture the next generation, and it is the result of natural evolution through competition.”
And I have always been doing the most reasonable thing.
"What a joke." Shirakawa Natsu stood up, pointing at his face: "I really want to peel that mask off you."
A strange look flashed in Hama Kimura's eyes.
"Remember to pay the bill." Shirakawa Natsu said, then turned and left. She had said enough; there was no point in saying anything more.
Of course, the most important thing is that he felt he was no match for Kimura Hama in terms of language.
Miyuki also got up behind him. As she passed the front desk, she asked the receptionist to pack two bottles of wine and pointed to Kimura Hama's seat, saying, "He's paying."
The two walked down the street. Shirakawa Natsu looked at her cold expression, carrying two bottles of wine, and his lips twitched.
"How do you manage to look so handsome while doing such silly things?"
Miyuki frowned slightly: "What did you say?"
"Never mind, it's fine." Shirakawa Natsu waved her hand, and Miyuki seemed not to think there was anything wrong with her behavior.
He didn't say anything for the rest of the journey.
“You’re in a bad mood,” Miki suddenly said.
Shirakawa Natsu shook her head: "I'm wondering why those time-traveling predecessors in novels were ordinary people in their previous lives."
After transmigrating, he found himself far superior to the prodigies of the other world in terms of eloquence, action, and courage. Could it be that the average intelligence of the world he transmigrated to was truly lower?
His remark stemmed from the fact that he had not gained the upper hand in his conversation with Kimura Hama.
If you insist on arguing, you can argue for a long time, but it's pointless to just have a good time.
"Are you unwilling to accept this?" Miyuki suddenly asked.
Shirakawa Natsu was stunned for a moment before covering her forehead and saying, "You bastard, shouldn't you be comforting me right now? Why are you saying such blunt truths?"
Yes, he was very unwilling to accept it.
Just like the word Kimura Hama believed in: "Reasonable".
Hama Kimura represents a 22-year relationship, a perfect appearance and personality, and a professor at a top university.
But to others, he was someone who might not see the sun rise tomorrow.
Hashimoto Arina was encouraged by him when she saw him still drawing manga to the best of his ability at the end of his life.
To demand that Hashimoto Arina be with him because of this would be far too selfish.
"Planning to give up?" Miyuki pressed down the stray hairs that were blown by the wind.
“No.” Shirakawa Natsu shook her head, stretched out her hand, and clenched it in front of her: “The word ‘give up’ does not exist in my dictionary.”
After he finished speaking, he turned his head and found that Miyuki was looking at him, and he couldn't help but shiver.
"Why are you looking at me like that?"
Miyuki shook her head: "You looked really cool just now."
"You like me?" Shirakawa Natsu glanced at her sideways. Miyuki had been by his side helping him the whole time.
And then there was the incident last time. Although I scratched his skin, I didn't wash it, and that's what happened.
It seems like they at least have a good impression of each other.
Miyu turned to look at Shirakawa Natsu, a roguish smile playing on his lips.
"Sorry, I shouldn't have asked such a humiliating question." Shirakawa Natsumi pouted; Miyuki's smile was far too sarcastic.
Miyuki took him back to the hospital and then left.
After meeting with Hama Kimura, Natsumi Shirakawa calmed down and picked up her paintbrush to continue painting.
Hama Kimura is not only a professor at the University of Tokyo, but he is also a bestselling manga artist.
The next day arrived quickly, and Hashimoto Arina took the day off again. The two spoke on the phone in the morning.
Hashimoto Arina asked him what he wanted for lunch, and Shirakawa Natsu complained that the hospital food was terrible.
Youcai instructed him to take his medicine on time. The two said they were dating, but it was more like an older sister taking care of a younger brother.
Shirakawa Natsu continued drawing until 11 a.m., then called Miyuki to come and pick up the manuscript.
He planned to finish serializing "Bleach" first. Since he didn't have to think about the plot and cut a lot of side plots, the story progressed very quickly and the pace became more compact.
When Miyuki arrived, he was yawning, clearly indicating that he hadn't slept well the night before.
"What's wrong with you?" Shirakawa Natsu asked curiously, "Did you go to a bar again last night?"
“No.” Miyuki covered his forehead: “Koizumi Nai complained on the phone all night last night that she’s been grounded at home.”
"Uh." Bai Chuan's lips twitched. He wasn't surprised by the result. If he knew that his daughter was going to be another man's dog, he would definitely break her legs.
He picked up the manuscript and handed it over: "This is a new manuscript, take it to the editorial department."
The comic book company asked him to hold an apology meeting last time, but because of his tough attitude, the matter was dropped.
With readers continuing to criticize the product while simultaneously buying it, sales soared even higher.
He became a father again.
After reading the manuscript, Miyuki asked, "The editorial department is organizing a trip to a hot spring inn for popular authors next week. It's all-inclusive, and you can bring friends. Are you planning to go?"
"Do I look like someone who can soak in a hot spring?" Shirakawa Natsu shrugged. If he went to a hot spring without anyone taking care of him, it would most likely turn into a hot spring hotel and a locked-room murder case.
Miyu glanced at him sideways: "Let that doctor take you there."
Shirakawa Natsu was taken aback, then turned to look at Miyuki. As expected of the Sea King, he's got some skills.
But he quickly shook his head, even though Hashimoto Arina agreed to go to the hot springs together.
His younger brother might not be up to par, and that would be too embarrassing.
The current plan is to gradually build up favorability; rushing things would be too risky and might not be a good thing.
Seeing his expression change from excitement to frustration, Miyuki frowned and asked, "What's wrong?"
Shirakawa Natsu hesitated for a moment, after all, the two had already had a brief, superficial friendship.
Thinking that obtaining Miyuki's help would lead to information asymmetry if she kept it a secret, she realized that doing so would only create more problems.
He expressed his concerns.
Unlike other women, Miyuki didn't feel ashamed. Her expression remained unchanged as she seriously analyzed, "You're overthinking it. There was no problem last time."
"No, that's not it." Shirakawa Natsu shook his head. He had kidney problems and didn't experience any normal symptoms when he woke up in the morning.
Last time, Miyuki scratched his skin, but since it wasn't over yet, he didn't know the specifics.
When he looked up, he saw Miyuki sitting in the caregiver's chair, covering her mouth with her hand.
Shirakawa Natsumi's lips twitched. Miyuki's fangs had left him with a psychological trauma, and even if she were willing, he wouldn't dare.
The situation became a little awkward for a moment.
Miyuki slapped his forehead: "What a nuisance!"
After she finished speaking, she stood up, sat on the hospital bed, and put her hand directly under the blanket.
"Wait a minute," Shirakawa Natsu quickly stopped her.
Their eyes met, and Miyuki frowned, saying, "You don't want to?"
"Uh, no, that's not it." Shirakawa Natsu pointed to the curtains: "Draw them first. It's lunchtime soon, no one will come."
Miyu cast a disdainful glance at him, stood up, drew the bed curtains, then sat back down on the edge of the bed and slipped her right hand under the covers.
This wasn't the first time; we've become quite familiar with each other.
After a long pause, Miyuki frowned and said, "It's hopeless, give up."
After she finished speaking, she tried to pull her hand away, but Shirakawa Natsu grabbed it. He said seriously, "I think there's still a chance to save you. The main reason is that deep down, I don't see you as a woman."
“What a troublesome guy.” Mikoto looked disgusted, grabbed his left hand, lifted his T-shirt, and stuffed his hand inside.
It's a bit stiff, with a fibrous feel, and you can feel the pattern with your fingers; it's a lace style.
Shirakawa Natsu didn't expect that her best friend's underwear would be so surprisingly feminine.
Miyuki turned her head away expressionlessly, and Shirakawa Natsu didn't look at her either. The two of them sat in a row like that, looking at the curtain of the hospital bed, with only their hands moving.
"I can still be saved after all." Shirakawa Natsu looked at the curtain, a look of surprise on her face, and turned to say:
"Could you be a little gentler?"
With a look of disgust on her face, Mi Zhi Shi turned around, grabbed his collar with her other hand, and pulled him towards herself.
Their lips met in a kiss.
"Who told you to stick your tongue out!" Mikoto shouted angrily after separating them.
Chapter 15 Routine
"Let's not talk about that now, I'm starting to feel it." Shirakawa Natsu leaned in and touched her lips.
Mi no Shiki looked disgusted, but did not refuse. He slightly opened his mouth and continued working on his hands.
Shirakawa Natsu's tongue carefully avoided her sharp teeth, and pressed against the tip of her tongue.
The exhaled breaths collided with each other, and the air began to become enchanting.
Just then, Miyuki suddenly leaned back, separated from him, and pulled her hand out from under the covers.
The two people, who were entangled together, suddenly separated.
Shirakawa Natsu felt a sudden emptiness and looked at Miyuki.
She was tidying up her clothes: "You're fine physically, you just need a little time to get going."
"Alright then." Shirakawa Natsu nodded, then stopped abruptly, somewhat annoyed.
"Are you still planning to pursue that doctor?" Miyuki straightened her clothes. "Kimura Hama doesn't seem to be just playing around. I have higher hopes for Kimura Hama."
If you just want to experience romance, I suggest you find a more suitable target. Love brings more than just sweetness.
The person you love most is often not the one who is right for you.
"Of course I won't give up." Shirakawa Natsu shrugged. "Modern people don't lack things like love."
I don't agree with what Kimura Hama calls "rational." We are human beings, and rational love cannot alleviate the loneliness and desolation in our hearts.
It's not often you get the chance to meet someone you can love for a lifetime.
