"Take me to see it."
Moen spoke up, his interest in this "Rain Woman" growing stronger.
"Okay, come with me."
The village chief hesitated for a moment, but finally agreed. To be honest, although he had always restrained the villagers from targeting the child out of a sense of morality, he also hoped that Moen could take the child away.
Ever since the child's parents had that accident a few years ago, it's been raining nonstop in the village, no wonder everyone is suffering.
Led by the village chief, Moen arrived at a small hut, followed by many villagers who wanted to see what would happen.
They were all hoping that Moen could take the "Rain Woman" away and solve the biggest problem in the village for them.
"Clang clang."
The village chief knocked on the door, and after a while, a small figure opened the door, but only a tiny crack.
"Jubia, it's me, the village chief."
The village chief spoke, which made the door open a little wider, clearly indicating that the girl inside named Jubia still trusted the village chief to some extent.
The door opened, and a girl stood there timidly. She had curly blue hair, a thin figure, and skin as pale as water bubbles, giving her a pitiful appearance.
"Village Chief"
Jubia spoke softly, her face showing fear, especially after seeing the group of villagers behind her, whose faces all wore undisguised disgust.
"Whoosh whoosh whoosh!"
The light drizzle suddenly intensified, and the villagers outside were all soaked to the bone.
"Damn it! Was this guy doing this on purpose?!"
"Stop the rain, you bastard!"
"That's outrageous! We have to get rid of her!"
"We've had enough!"
Soaked to the bone, the villagers completely lost their temper, cursing and swearing without any regard for the children. They called Juvia a "freak"!
The result was that the more they cursed, the heavier the rain became.
"Shut up! Shut up! Get yourselves all home now! You all like getting soaked in the rain, don't you?!"
The village chief turned around and started yelling at the villagers, chasing away all those who wanted to watch the commotion.
They had no choice but to leave; the rain was so heavy it felt like knives scraping against their skin, so they had no choice but to flee one by one.
'interesting.'
Looking at the scene before him, Moen was filled with astonishment.
It's now 100% certain that the rain in this village was indeed affected by the child's magic, but the child's magic isn't particularly powerful.
Moen stared at Juvia, pondering whether any of the books he had read had recorded this phenomenon; her condition was clearly abnormal.
"Juvia, please let the rain lessen."
After driving all the villagers away, the village chief looked at Jubia and sighed as he made a plea.
"I...I didn't mean to."
Juvia looked distressed. She loathed her abilities and didn't want to be like this, but she couldn't control them.
But after the village chief reassured him, Juvia's mood did improve considerably, which caused the rain outside to gradually subside.
Juvia let the village chief and Moen into her house. Moen was fine; he simply used his magic to keep the rain out. But the village chief couldn't stand it; he was almost drenched.
The door closed, and the sound of rain lessened a bit.
Moen looked around the room; it was practically bare, and the child's living conditions were clearly quite harsh.
"Juvia, this is Moen, a mage from the Fairy Tail guild. Tell him your situation in detail, maybe he can find a way to solve it and make you normal again."
The village chief then introduced Moen.
Juvia looked at Moen. She had noticed Moen earlier. Everyone looked at her with undisguised disgust, except for two people: the village chief, who had always been kind to her, and Moen, who was standing next to the village chief.
"Really? Is it okay? They all say I'm a monster."
Looking at Moen, Juvia whispered, her eyes filled with hope, as if she had grasped at some lifeline, but she dared not hold on too tightly, for fear that this lifeline would break.
"Of course you're not a monster."
Moen shook his head with a smile, saying that the "Rain Woman" monster was just a rumor.
"You are a very rare magical genius. These things are just because you haven't controlled your talent. Once you learn to control this power, it won't happen again."
Looking at Juvia, Moen said very seriously, with a smile on his face, as if it wasn't a difficult thing at all.
But in reality, Moen wasn't really confident either. There were many geniuses who awakened magic in Fairy Tail, but he had never seen anyone like Juvia who could also influence weather changes.
However, while Moen himself wasn't confident he could solve the problem, that didn't mean Grandpa Makarov was helpless.
If you're ever unsure what to do, just ask Grandpa Makarov, or the Third Hokage of Fairy Tail. The other Third Hokage is the "Professor of Ninjutsu," and Makarov is the "Professor of Magic." There's very little he doesn't know.
"A magical genius?"
Jubia was stunned, and so was the village chief.
The latest novel is first published here!
"So Juvia's magic is rain?"
The village chief asked blankly.
To be honest, they had considered the possibility of "magic," but Juvia could do nothing but make it rain uncontrollably, which made it difficult to categorize as magic. They simply saw her as a "rain woman" monster.
"The rain is merely an outward manifestation of her magical talent, proving her high level of ability. She still needs further systematic instruction, but Juvia, do you really not know how to use your magic?"
Moen looked at Juvia with a puzzled expression. Logically speaking, if someone had awakened magic, they should have been able to use it.
Well, unless they were very resistant from the beginning, like Mira, but Mira's situation is special. She was possessed by a demon from the beginning, so naturally she would be resistant. What about Juvia?
"Does using it count?"
Juvia frowned, and her body began to change, transforming directly into flowing water, her entire being becoming composed of water.
"What?! What?!"
The village chief was startled. A person had turned into water?! Was this even human?! Mages really were monsters!
"It looks like water magic."
Moen nodded. Magic that directly uses a certain attribute can achieve a similar effect, somewhat like "elementalization".
Laxus's lightning magic can also transform him into lightning, but this move is not very effective against mages.
Everyone uses magic, so even if you "transform into an element," you can still be attacked, unlike in another world where you have to use special methods to fight.
"Magic" is the power that is the source of life, how could it be such an inconvenient thing?
"Mr. Momoen, can I really go back to normal?"
Looking at the young-faced Moen, Juvia was terrified. She was afraid it was all a joke, that it was all fake.
"Of course you can. Do you want to come with me? Join the Fairy Tail guild. There are many kids like you there, many magical geniuses. We will teach you how to control your talent."
Moen smiled and extended a membership invitation to Juvia. If any mage in any guild discovered Juvia, they would definitely not let her go. This child's talent was enough to be considered S-rank in most mage guilds.
Now that they've already discovered this promising talent, Moen certainly won't leave her behind; he'll definitely bring her back to the guild.
"I"
Juvia paused for a moment, seemingly hesitant.
"Go, Juvia, that is your true home."
Seeing Juvia remain silent, the village chief slowly spoke up, offering a helping hand. In his opinion, it was definitely a good thing that Juvia was taken away by Fairy Tail, a good thing for everyone in the village and for Juvia herself.
