Naruto likes to eat ramen, partly because the ramen here is delicious.
On the other hand, Tsuteki and Ayame are among the few who do not discriminate against him.
In addition, the ramen here is relatively inexpensive.
This is all Naruto can afford.
"Naruto, are you full?"
Kawasaki asked with a smile.
"Hehe, Kawasaki-senpai, I'm full."
Naruto patted his bulging belly, feeling happier than ever before.
"Naruto, I've heard you often cause some minor trouble?"
someone asked.
Sasuke was completely confused, thinking: We just met today, where did this "hearsay" come from?
But with a single glance from Kawasaki, Sasuke immediately fell silent.
"Me, um... hehehehe."
Naruto scratched his head a little shyly, after all, he couldn't very well tell Kawasaki that it was just a little prank to attract everyone's attention.
"I'm sorry, Kawasaki-senpai, I will never be naughty again."
Instead of scolding her, Kawasaki beckoned Ayame over and said, "Could you please settle the bill?"
Kawasaki then took out twenty thousand-tael notes and handed them to Ayame.
Changpu quickly waved her hand: "Three hundred and twenty taels will be enough in total."
Ichiraku Ramen is already affordable; apart from the deluxe version which costs 200 ryo, the Kawasaki and Sasuke portions are only 60 ryo each.
Kawasaki waved his hand: "Keep the rest here. Naruto and Sasuke can eat whatever they want next time they come. The expenses will be deducted from this."
"Is this...okay?"
Changpu turned her head, saw Shouda nodding with a smile, and then took the money.
"Naruto, I've prepaid some money here. You and Sasuke can come and eat as much as you want next time."
"Kawasaki-senpai, this won't do. I can't accept your money."
Naruto was quite surprised.
Kawasaki's face hardened: "Who gave you money? You're Sasuke's friend. Are you just going to sit there and watch Sasuke eat?"
"The ninja academy is about to start, and you two will have classes every day, so it's more convenient to eat here."
"Ah...oh...this..."
Naruto sensed something was wrong, but couldn't quite put his finger on it.
Kawasaki then said with a smile, "Sasuke doesn't have many friends, so he'll have to rely on you to keep him company."
"Also, stop causing trouble and focus on your studies when you're at school."
"Okay! I'll visit Sasuke often from now on! I'll study hard!"
When Naruto encounters something he can't understand, he simply stops thinking about it.
The first time someone asked him for a favor, he felt a surge of strength, and his heart was filled with warmth and joy.
Sasuke pouted and said, "Who cares if he comes to play with me? Humph."
Kawasaki was used to Sasuke's tsundere attitude, shook his head, and led the two children out.
Kakashi quickly finished his noodles and followed closely behind Kawasaki and the others.
The Hokage just urgently summoned him back to see what Kawasaki was up to by being so nice to Naruto for no apparent reason, and what his intentions were.
As a result, Kawasaki treated Naruto to ramen and then took him to Konoha's Eighth Street.
That street is full of Uchiha family shops, and it's currently the busiest street in Konoha because the Uchiha's security forces patrol nearby.
Everyone who met Kawasaki would bow respectfully and say, "Lord Kawasaki."
Kawasaki waved in response.
As they reached the street corner, Kawasaki sensed that Kakashi and his group were getting anxious, and that more and more members of the Anbu were joining them.
Kawasaki didn't want a direct confrontation with the Anbu for the time being, so he took out a wad of cash from his pocket and gave it to Sasuke.
"Sasuke, you haven't been back for so long. Go buy some new clothes. Hmm, buy a few sets, and buy a couple for your good friend Naruto too."
"I have something to take care of. See you later."
Kawasaki gave Sasuke a wink, and Sasuke's eyes darted around, seemingly understanding but not quite.
Kawasaki walked outside and instructed the Uchiha clansmen beside him, "Anbu members will be coming to check on Naruto in a little while, you don't need to worry about them."
"Yes!"
The Uchiha Guard salutes.
After walking a while longer, Kawasaki called out to those behind him, "Come out, Kakashi."
Chapter 27 The Third Hokage! Sasuke and Naruto!
Kakashi revealed himself: "Uchiha Kawasaki, the vice-head of the clan, do you know me? What is your purpose in approaching Naruto?"
Kawasaki looked Kakashi up and down; Kakashi was dressed as an Anbu member.
He wasn't wearing a mask; his headband covered his left eye, revealing a hollow and lifeless gaze.
Remembering the hardships Naruto had endured over the years, Kawasaki felt a surge of disgust towards Kakashi.
He suddenly teleported in front of Kakashi and kicked him to the ground.
Kakashi was caught off guard by the sudden attack and fell to the ground.
Kawasaki spat angrily: "Pah! I've disliked you for a long time!"
Then he breathed a sigh of relief: "That feels better!"
Kakashi stood up, his face full of anger: "Kawasaki! Why did you attack me?!"
Kakashi remained restrained, worried that Kawasaki was deliberately provoking them, and that the relationship between the Uchiha clan and the village was tense and delicate.
Kawasaki asked with a mocking expression, "Why did I attack you?"
"Because you are ungrateful, heartless, and..."
Kawasaki pursed his lips and swallowed his words.
"Me?! Ungrateful?!"
Kakashi looked puzzled: "I don't even know you, how could you be ungrateful?"
Kawasaki stroked his chin, looking Kakashi up and down, then down.
This guy, is this Sakumo Hatake's son?
"Aren't you Minato Namikaze's apprentice?"
"So what?"
This is no secret; even the Uchiha clan knows it.
"You still remember that you are Minato Namikaze's apprentice?"
Kawasaki is weird.
"His orphaned son is bullied every day and forced to eat spoiled food, and you don't even see that?"
Kakashi paused for a moment, then said, "It was the Third Hokage's order. Naruto..."
"Oh, nonsense, don't bring up that 'his identity is a secret' nonsense."
Kawasaki said impatiently, "What does this have to do with him eating junk food and spoiled food every day?"
"I've never owned a decent set of clothes in my life, and I've never had enough to eat or wear."
"The third generation really knows how to take care of the orphans of the fourth generation, and you really know how to take care of your master's son."
"You watched the Third Hokage seize your master's inheritance, watched Naruto suffer from hunger, drink expired milk, and eat bento boxes mixed with sand, and you remained indifferent, right?"
"You dare to claim to be from the Hatake family? You're disgusting."
"I..."
Kakashi was speechless; there really was nothing to say.
After Obito's death, he became extremely depressed, living like a walking corpse day after day.
They mechanically complete their tasks every day without taking care of themselves, let alone Naruto.
Whatever the three generations said was law; there was no need for thought, nor was it possible for them to think.
Kakashi rallied his spirits: "That's no reason for you to get close to Naruto."
Kawasaki waved his hand: "When I was little, Kushina helped me. I just wanted Naruto to eat well and stay warm. You're overthinking it. I'm not that bad."
"It doesn't matter how much the secret service monitors us."
Kakashi's expression was complicated, but he relaxed.
Kawasaki casually walked towards the Eighth Street with his hands behind his head: "However, if Naruto feels that the Uchiha treat him better in the future, that is Naruto's choice."
Kakashi was startled!
"Two of these, please."
"Two of these too."
"These are all in pairs, packaged separately."
When Kawasaki returned to the Eighth Street, Sasuke was picking out clothes in a clothing store.
Naruto was already carrying several bags, containing shoes, pants, and other items.
Sasuke waved the banknotes, directing the shop assistants to do various tasks.
As a shop owned by the Uchiha clan, they naturally recognized this young clan leader.
