Chapter 57: I am Iron Man
Chapter 57: I am Iron Man
"Dude, why does that device on your arm look a little familiar?"
Harry, on his flying skateboard, followed closely behind Thriller.
He learned something from Peter: how to secretly tinker with other things while talking.
For example, right now.
A brownish-yellow pumpkin bomb popped out of the flying skateboard, which Harry held in his hand, hid behind his back, and weighed in his hand.
As soon as this guy turns around, he'll throw this little thing in his face!
"Damn it."
coming!
Terrified, he couldn't help but turn around and yell, "Can't you two brothers just shut up?!"
Harry was taken aback, thinking that the other party knew his and Peter's identities, and quickly denied it.
"No, no, no, he and I are not brothers!"
"Really? No way—"
As he was talking about the horror, he noticed a small pumpkin, shimmering with green light, heading straight for him!
"You still say you're not brothers? Your sneak attack methods are exactly the same!!!"
Having learned its lesson, Jingxing raised an arm, and the vibration device released a shockwave that shot straight toward the small pumpkin.
The shockwave exploded with a loud roar and flames the moment it collided with the pumpkin bomb.
Fortunately, the commotion occurred over the street and did not cause much damage.
The flames and smoke thickened together, obscuring the view of the pursuers behind them.
"Oops!"
A green figure shot out of the explosion cloud at incredible speed, scattering the surrounding smoke and clouds.
Harry rushed to the location of the horror in the blink of an eye and grabbed him by the neck with one hand.
"How much did the device on you cost? Don't you even look at mine?"
Harry grabbed the guy by the neck, finding that he didn't seem interested in resisting.
"You're right, it's definitely not as valuable as what you've put on."
The terrifying arms swung in mid-air, then suddenly stopped, aiming directly at the flying skateboard beneath the Iron Man.
"But at least I'm much smarter than you."
"What—"
boom!
A small explosion erupted between the two.
The two were sent flying backwards.
I was prepared for the horror; during the flip, I used the vibration device to stabilize my body.
Meanwhile, on Harry's side...
He noticed that inside the helmet visor, a warning popped out first, indicating that the flying skateboard had gone out of control, followed by reports of injuries to various parts of his body.
However, the armor was very tough, so he didn't suffer any particularly serious injuries, at most some scratches and a tingling sensation in his legs.
Harry let out a long sigh.
It scared him to death.
Thankfully, my leg wasn't broken...
and many more!
My flying skateboard!!!
Just when he thought he was about to fall straight down, a familiar and delightful voice rang in his ears.
"You left your beloved toy behind, Iron Man... Honestly, that name doesn't suit you."
Harry was surprised to find that the flying skateboard had returned to his legs, supporting his falling body.
Looking up, Spider-Man was already right in front of him, two strands of spider silk shooting out at the wall below the horrifying legs. With a strong pull, the whole person flew over like a cannonball!
Harry clenched his fist and shouted, "Kick his ass, you little spider!"
Then, the flying skateboard beneath their feet cheered.
zizi——
This is a sign that the engine is about to shut down.
But he was still in mid-air.
"No, no, no, no, no!"
Harry frantically maneuvered his flying skateboard, swaying and staggering in mid-air as if he were drunk.
After several seconds of turbulence, it finally landed smoothly.
As soon as I freed my feet, I remembered that my legs were still weak and limp. When my heels touched the ground, I immediately lost my balance.
Please!!!
Harry waved his hands wildly, like a roly-poly toy.
He staggered a few steps.
boom.
Harry stumbled into a shop.
"&@#%!!!"
Harry cursed silently as he lay sprawled in the shop, only to find the ceiling of the shop somewhat familiar.
I turned my head and looked.
It was the Lego store that I had mentioned to Peter not long ago.
"Oh no, Peter's going to kill me later!"
Harry thought to himself.
After all, Peter seemed to have already figured out the plan before the battle even started.
If it weren't for his interference, the horror wouldn't have reached 33rd Street; it would have been easily dealt with by Peter on another street long ago.
A heavy sigh came from inside the mech.
A few breaths passed.
"Iron Man, are you alright!?"
Upon hearing Peter's voice, Harry writhed on the ground like a maggot.
Then half of his body peeked out of the shop door.
He gave a thumbs-up to the two figures in the sky not far away.
"I am fine!"
......
Spider-Man, riding on the back of the horror film, saw Harry's thumb and breathed a sigh of relief.
"Get off me right now, you damn bug!"
Thrillingly, his hands were stuck in the spider silk. If he tried to unleash a shockwave, the result would be the same as before: his body would go limp and he would have to wait for Spider-Man to deal with him.
Unwilling to give up, he twisted his body, attempting to shake Spider-Man off his body.
He was met with two spider silk threads, which shot out beside his feet.
Beside the feet?
With a bang.
He knelt on the ground in horror.
Enraged, he was about to berate the bug for humiliating him like this when his helmet was ripped off.
"You fucking—"
Use polite language!
A clump of spider silk was stuffed into his horrified mouth, preventing him from making any more noises; he could only protest with muffled "uh-uh-uh."
Spider-Man ignored the horrified look in his eyes that seemed to want to kill him.
He half-squatted in front of it, clenched his fist and rested it on his chin to observe the other's vibration device.
"Hmm... Ah! I found you!"
Spider-Man flicks his finger and presses a button on the device, immediately shutting down the vibration system.
He then deactivated the device on the other arm of the horror, which shot out several strands of spider silk that firmly stuck the horror to the ground, rendering it unable to move.
Spider-Man picked up two objects that looked like boxing gloves and examined them carefully.
Suddenly, he spotted a familiar logo.
"Osborn Technologies?!"
Spider-Man asked, "Where did you get this device?!"
Horrified: "Ughhhh!"
"Feel sorry."
Spider-Man ripped open the spider silk in front of the other's mouth and heard a horrified scream.
"Damn it, you pulled out my beard!"
"Oh, oh, I'm sorry, I didn't know you had a beard..."
Spider-Man scratched his head and waved the gauntlet-like device in front of the horror.
"So where did you get all this stuff?"
"..."
Faced with Spider-Man's questioning, Thriller became somewhat honest at this moment.
For no other reason than this first meeting today, I was utterly defeated (deeply saddened).
Moreover, he could clearly feel that this guy was holding back when he hit him!
I wasn't seriously injured at all!
The only serious injury was when the shockwave he released hit him (a huge tragedy).
So at this moment, the horror is utterly honest.
"I don't know who they are. All I know is that they approached me and gave me this set of equipment," he said.
"Didn't they ask you to do anything?" Spider-Man asked.
"Yes." She glanced at him with a startled look, her voice slightly soft.
"What?"
"They asked me to give New York City a little shock..."
Spider-Man was stunned.
He then burst into laughter, unable to contain himself: "Pfft—don't tell me that's where your name comes from!"
Terrified and enraged, he yelled, "Shut up!"
Spider-Man raised his hands in surrender and said no more.
However, from a horror perspective, this is mocking him!
"I......"
Spider-Man!
A loud voice rang out first, drowning out his own.
"Oh dear, the police are coming to arrest you."
Spider-Man pointed at him, then picked him up and jumped off the not-so-high rooftop.
The person who called him was Officer George Stacy, who was holding a megaphone and waiting for him on the street below.
"I promised you I wouldn't come near Herald Square!" Spider-Man carried the horror in one hand and gave a military salute with the other.
George raised an eyebrow, turned and ordered his men to carry the "white maggot" off Spider-Man's shoulder.
Then he said, "Well done."
Spider-Man waved his hand dismissively, then realized another problem and immediately became hesitant.
Seeing this, George couldn't help but ask, "What's wrong now?"
Spider-Man's tone was rather weak: "There's some loose rock on 32nd Street that still needs to be cleared..."
George dismissed it: "It's alright, I'll send someone to clean up... Wait a minute, the way you're talking clearly doesn't sound like you're just being rude!"
Spider-Man's scalp tingled: "I'm so sorry, there was just an unexpected incident along the way..."
Before he could finish speaking, a sound rang out from not far away.
"Hey, little spider!"
Okay, here comes the unexpected.
George looked in the direction of the sound and saw a figure in green armor running towards them.
"who is he?"
Iron Man.
"Wearing a blob of green and calling yourself Iron Man?"
"That's exactly what I was thinking!"
Harry ran up to Spider-Man and the police officer, carrying a Lego model.
"Did that guy solve it?"
"Thanks to you, it's solved."
Spider-Man was actually a little angry, but considering the present situation, he didn't show it.
George glanced at the toy the guy was holding and warned:
"You need to put this back. If you want to buy it again, come back when the clerk is around. Also, where did you come from?"
Harry puffed out his chest. "Trust me, once they know who I am, they'll be willing to give it to me."
"Really? Then who are you?" George chuckled, crossing his arms as he looked at him.
"I am......"
Spider-Man noticed Harry's strange reaction and quickly stepped between the two, frantically chanting:
"No, no, no, no, no, no!!!"
However, it was too late for Harry.
The mask was pulled back, revealing his true face.
Harry tilted his head and peeked out from beside Spider-Man's body.
"I am Harry Osborn, and I am Iron Man."
"..."
Spider-Man slaps me across the face, I'm speechless!
