Standing at Sirius's house.

No one knows how complicated Harry Potter's feelings are at this moment.

When he returned to Privet Road for the Christmas holidays, he could clearly sense the change in his uncle's family's attitude.

An unimaginable transformation.

He never imagined that when he returned after fleeing the house to avoid potential punishment from the Ministry of Magic's Aurors following the last time he turned his aunt into a balloon and then saved her, his uncle would show him more respect.

He said, "Harry, maybe I should treat you like a man."

His aunt still seemed to dislike him, but she secretly placed two new sets of winter clothes on his bed, along with a warm coat that looked to be of good quality.

Even his cousin Dali has changed; he'll share some of his snacks with him.

The Dursleys have changed.

Harry has changed too.

In fact, Professor Lockhart's appearance at Hogwarts had an impact on Harry that went far beyond simply teaching him some magic.

Lockhart never mentioned "bravery" to Harry, but rather "responsibility"—the responsibility a "savior" should have.

So Harry changed.

So, just as the professor said—you change, and everything influenced by your 'sociality' will change.

And so the Dursleys really did change.

Harry learned a great deal about magic from Professor Lockhart, and the most profound lesson he learned was about the magic his mother used to create between blood relatives.

Professor Lockhart said that blood magic not only protects Harry, but also the Dursleys.

It was around that time that Harry began to understand the terrible risks his aunt and uncle's family took in adopting him, given the threat of death from Voldemort, the Death Eaters, and so many followers.

In the past, he would never have wanted to return to Privet Road during the short two-week Christmas holiday.

But he still came back.

He was determined to face his blood relatives bravely and to take on all the responsibilities he should bear.

He wanted to mend the rift between blood relatives.

Yes, even Ron and Hermione didn't know, but he was determined to work hard for it.

He asked his Weasley twin brother to buy him lots of candy and snacks, subscribe to a magazine that tells stories about the wizarding world, and even buy him a self-cleaning tie.

The effect is very good.

Uncle Vernon, holding the tie, no longer called wizards monsters; he accepted the gift with a touch of reverence.

Needless to say, Dudley, the cousin, was immediately captivated by the candy of the magical world.

A chocolate frog that can jump on its own—oh, in his eyes, there was nothing more magical in the world.

Dudley was stunned, and even gave him a fawning smile.

Aunt Penny's attitude was strange; she just held the magazine and cried, and despite everyone's concern, she couldn't bear to let go.

Harry felt he had done the right thing.

Professor Lockhart is right. Magic can bring terrible and eerie horrors, but it can also bring wonderful and fantastical experiences. It all depends on the wizard's attitude towards magic and life.

Harry once thought it was wonderful.

Until Dumbledore and Professor McGonagall arrived.

He didn't know how he left his uncle's house. As he walked to the fireplace, he looked back at his uncle's family watching him leave from the living room.

A myriad of emotions welled up inside me.

Do you hate it?

Perhaps some, after all, the pain of childhood can never disappear; it has long since become a scar on the soul.

Do you love me?

Actually, there were some. He recalled the past, how his aunt and uncle's family, no matter how much they disliked him, would still take him with them when they went to the zoo, and they would always specially see him off at the station when school started or ended.

He stepped before the fireplace, then suddenly laughed, looking at his uncle's family, "Sometimes I want to come back and stay for a few days. Would you welcome me?"

His uncle's family laughed too, and at that moment he felt his whole heart lighten.

Even Dumbledore and Professor McGonagall's expressions changed, it was a strange feeling, but anyway.

Life is about moving forward bravely. It's time to step into the magical world, go to the Godfather's house, and truly enter the life of a wizard.

It's time to distance ourselves from these defenseless blood relatives while we fight the terrible Voldemort and his evil minions.

This is also his responsibility as a member of the Dursley family!

Sirius's house is very interesting.

It was squeezed out from between two buildings, as if it had been created by magic, in the middle of a Muggle street.

Stepping inside, one can clearly feel the solemnity and grandeur of an ancient, pure-blooded family. (This impression comes from Grindelwald's magical restoration of the Black family's ancestral home.)

Harry was somewhat determined at first.

He didn't actually know Sirius that well.

But he quickly relaxed.

Sirius Black's family includes Professor Lockhart, Professor Lupin, and Ron's brother Percy.

After staying there for two days, familiar faces came to my house again.

Neville Longbottom.

And the annoying Snape.

Snape accompanied Neville's grandmother and uncle as they arrived, hoping to observe every change in the Longbottoms under the influence of the so-called "elevator" in order to determine a better treatment plan.

As for Black and Goyle, they couldn't possibly be at the Order of the Phoenix headquarters, even though they were Lockhart's apprentices, they couldn't possibly be brought here.

That night, many more people appeared at Sirius's house.

Among those Harry knew were Ron's parents, the Weasleys.

Soon, witnessed by everyone, Neville helped his parents into the elevator and slowly stepped out, looking intently at Professor Lockhart, who had a serious expression on his face.

Lockhart was currently using the "telepathic communication" technique taught by Dumbledore to communicate with the dark magic creature, the elevator. This was difficult because the elevator, as a unique creature, seemed to lack much independent consciousness, making direct communication challenging.

After waiting for quite a while, Lockhart finally raised his wand again and gently pressed it against the elevator, whispering, "Bloodline Slumber!"

The elevator made a very distinctive "ding" sound.

A warm white light emanated from the gap in the elevator, flickering continuously as if it were falling.

Ding! The elevator doors slowly opened.

Lockhart stepped back, letting the Longbottoms approach the elevator doors, and nodded to Snape, who was staring intently at him with a serious expression.

We are all preparing to deal with any potential problems.

Fortunately, everything went smoothly.

As the elevator doors opened fully, a grave voice came from inside, "Who's out there!"

"Frank! It's me! It's us!" Frank's brother shouted excitedly. "Merlin's Beard, you've finally 'awakened'!"

,

The elevator doors opened completely, and a couple with surprised yet expectant expressions looked outside. Accompanied by the suppressed sobs of the grandmother, Augusta, the family was finally reunited.

"Frank! Alice! Look! This is your son, Neville!" Frank's brother happily pulled the chubby Neville in front of him.

"It actually works!" Snape exclaimed, looking at the elevator in amazement. He then asked Lockhart, "Can it be replicated?"

Lockhart shook his head. "It's difficult, you know. Dark magic creatures are actually a phenomenon. Unless they develop biological characteristics, there's no way to deal with them."

Snape nodded, carefully casting his magic to check, and finally turned to look at Dumbledore, who was staring intently at him, and nodded to confirm that there was no problem.

Or rather, as Lockhart had anticipated, the Longbottoms at this moment looked like a Muggle couple.

There's absolutely no indication that it possesses any magical power.

With families reunited and so much to say, everyone headed out of the room, leaving the place to Longbottom and his friends.

Before everyone had all gone outside, the sound of people crying tears of joy came from inside.

Sirius Black leaned against the doorframe, arms crossed, looking at Snape with a sneer. "Look at all the evil you've done back then!"

Snape simply looked at him indifferently, his voice low, "At least I'm willing to face everything from the past, willing to make amends, and willing to take responsibility for my mistakes and my mission."

"Sirius, you have no right to talk to me like that."

"In my eyes, you also need to face your mistakes and your mission, but will you take responsibility?"

He relentlessly mocked, "The noble young Master Blake obviously wouldn't think about such a question; he's always so self-righteous."

Sirius just sneered, "Dumbledore is willing to believe you, and everyone is willing to believe Dumbledore's judgment. But remember this..."

I'll be keeping an eye on you!

Snape ignored him and walked straight outside.

I don't want to talk to the person who killed Lily at all. I hate him so much, just like he hates me for killing Lily.

My heart is filled with intense hatred.

He discussed the details of the recent examination of the Longbottoms with Lockhart, and then left Sirius's house.

A little later, Lockhart will leave with Percy after Lupin goes in to try it.

This place will become the headquarters of the Order of the Phoenix, and it will no longer be suitable for him, an outsider, to participate.

Those students are still waiting for him.

Soon, the night grew even darker.

Sirius quickly went inside and invited the Longbottoms out to settle downstairs. Then, he took Lupin, who had locked himself in his brother Regulus's room next door, into the room and, together with Lockhart, cast a spell to completely seal the room.

"Maybe I can keep an eye on him myself?" Sirius looked at Lockhart with some concern. "After he becomes a werewolf, he becomes completely ruthless and unaware of how aggressive he is. We've found a way for him to transform into an Animagus to avoid werewolf attacks, you—"

Lockhart turned around and chuckled, "Don't worry, because I can be a werewolf too."

"???" Sirius was a little confused.

He soon witnessed it.

As strands of wolf fur sprouted from Lockhart's skin, his body began to swell rapidly, transforming him into a burly werewolf in an instant.

"Look!" The werewolf chuckled, his jaws clenching and clanking as his chest heaved rapidly, as if suppressing an extreme, malevolent evil.

Sirius looked at him in amazement, then shook his head. "Merlin's beard, how did you do that? But you're not some werewolf!"

Lockhart stretched out his werewolf arms, his long, slender fingers twitching, the sharp claws gleaming with a terrifying and dangerous light. "How am I not a werewolf?"

Sirius said with certainty, "Yes, you are not a werewolf!"

He knows werewolves too well!

"When a werewolf transforms, the clothes will tear; it's just a change in the body."

He looked Lockhart up and down. "Your clothes and wand have changed together, making you look more like an Animagus in a shapeshifting state."

Lockhart's body rapidly collapsed and shrank back into human form. He raised an eyebrow. "That's certainly true!"

This is a very interesting perspective.

The transformations of Animagus and Wolfsbane are fundamentally different.

What followed was a long wait.

The three chatted idly, discussing the wolfsbane potion that Snape had previously discovered and discarded.

"Back then, I was disguised as Lupin, and Snape thought I was him, so he gave me the Wolfsbane Potion," Sirius sneered. "I sensed the malice in his potion, so I poured it away."

Lupin frowned, looking at his old friend with a hint of helplessness. "Sirius, Snape doesn't seem to have any hostility towards me right now."

he-

Before he could finish speaking, Sirius interrupted with a sneer, "Bullshit!"

"When we members of the Black family are in our early education, we need to learn some unique magic that is not taught in magic schools, one of which is potion detection."

"This magic can detect the potion-making process of a potion-maker, and it can also detect whether a potion made for oneself is filled with malice."

His gaze was filled with anger. "I sensed far too much filth in his potions! He absolutely wants nothing to do with Remus!"

Lupin sighed. "Dude, you can't expect him to have any goodwill towards me. It's good enough that he doesn't hate me."

"I know he hates me, but that doesn't mean he'd go so far as to use wolfsbane to harm me."

Sirius Black remained steadfast in his judgment, "The magic has already given me the answer; I can't let you risk drinking his potion!"

"He's changed, Sirius," Lupin advised. "We can't always stay in the past, in the past, that was a decade or two ago."

"And we can't be so demanding of anyone."

Even Sirius Black right in front of us,

Lupin doesn't actually hold a grudge against Sirius Black for excluding him from the Secret Service when he gave the James family the Seal of Faith.

He has experienced far too much in his life.

I experienced the complexities of human relationships and the hardships of life, felt the chilling difference between close and distant relationships, and also realized that there's no need to pursue perfection in everything in life.

Because there is no such thing as perfection in this world.

It was as if he knew that if it weren't for James, Sirius and Pettigrew's little group might not have been willing to accept someone like him.

He valued friendship and the rare kindness in life, so he gave up his determination to dwell on these things.

Finally, the bright moon appeared outside the window, hanging high in the sky, its light shining down.

Lockhart observed this state and finally came to a clearer guess: "What affects the onset of wolfsbane is not the moon on a full moon night."

It's not the moonlight that falls on a full moon night!

The moonlight shines down, penetrating every nook and cranny.

It has permeated every corner of the world.

Lupin began to become irritable, even filled with terrible emotions such as malice, cruelty, and aggression, which churned and accumulated in his chest.

Following Lockhart's instructions, he quickly entered the elevator and patiently waited for Lockhart to perform his magic to heal him.

It turns out that people do have different levels of closeness or distance.

Sirius hadn't been this nervous even when the Longbottoms were trying out the elevator. He watched Lupin enter, then stared at the closing doors, looking at Lockhart with great concern. "Are you sure it will work?"

Lockhart shrugged. "It works in theory, but this is the first time we've put it into practice."

"He has to try it to know if it's good or bad."

boom!

A loud crash came from inside the elevator, accompanied by a howl like a wild beast and the sound of a furious werewolf banging on the elevator doors, unable to open them.

The elevator suddenly fell silent.

As the elevator doors reopened, Lockhart and Sirius both became alert, gripping their wands tightly.

Poor Lupin, fate finally smiled upon him just once.

When the elevator doors opened completely, Lu Ping, with a smile on his face, looked at the two of them with great interest.

"It works!" Sirius shouted excitedly.

"Yes." Lockhart exclaimed in surprise as he stepped forward to give Lupin a thorough examination, then breathed a sigh of relief. "Sirius, now you need to carefully observe how long Lupin and the Longbottoms have been in good condition after using this elevator?"

The elevator couldn't suppress the wizard's magical bloodline forever; Lockhart guessed there must be a time limit.

It is extremely important to understand this!
